CNN, ABC News, MTV, Entertainment Tonight and local news reporters use mic flags on every broadcast. They are those rectangular ornaments on handheld microphones that display the network/show/stations logo.Logo artwork can be designed on your PC and printed on a color printer. Print onto self-adhesive Avery labels, transparent acetates, or solid paper. Laminate your creation and then just attach it to the sides of the flag. Mic Flag sell online for $20-$40. They can be made in about half an hour using materials that cost less than $1.This is a step-by-step process of how to make a mic flag.

I found this cool tool online one day and have been eagerly awaiting its release. Its call 'Video Post Robot'. Luckily I got sent an advanced copy of it to checkout.
Its a tool that lets me post my podcast episodes to all the video sites at one time.. Normally I would have to spend hours logging into each site manually one - by one.. boring shit if you ask me. But now this tool lets you plugin all the logins for Myspace, Youtube, Revver, Brightcove etc.. one time. and then you never have to worry about them again.
You add your video details and hit upload. Go to bed and in the morning you vid is live on:

Not to shabby for five minutes work.
It worth a look... and believe me it actually works. If you are an online video producer like me its a must have.. It cost $197.00 which is a bit expensive if you ask me, but if you're like me and produce episodes every week. Think about how much extra time that gonna save. Its a no brainer.
